Randall H. Scarlett: Current Events
Mr. Scarlett is a frequent lecturer
throughout the United States on brain injury, spinal cord injury,
catastrophic personal injury and other matters.
As a past Vice-President and current Member of the Board of Directors of the California Brain Injury Association, Mr. Scarlett volunteers his time as Seminar Chair of the CALBIA Medical/Legal Conference
which takes place annually. The Seminar takes place variously in
September/October/November at the Silverado Country Club Resort and Spa
located just outside of Napa, in the midst of the beautiful California

This year's Ninth Annual Brain Injury Medical/Legal Conference will be held on Friday, November 16, 2007 through Sunday, November 18, 2007. In addition to Mr. Scarlett,
scheduled speakers at this year's Seminar include Claude Munday, Ph.D.,
Thomas William Malone, Esq., Geoffrey T. Manley, M.D.. For registration

Mr. Scarlett's association with The Belli Society has been a long one. Between 1981 and 1993, Mr. Scarlett worked with Melvin M. Belli, Sr. When Mr. Scarlett departed in 1993, he did so as Melvin M. Belli, Sr.'s law partner. Together, Mr. Scarlett and Mr. Belli tried numerous cases, including the Marcos International Human Rights cases, among others.
Mr. Scarlett is a current member of the Board of Directors and is a past President of the Belli Society. The Belli Society is an International Trial Lawyers Society
formed by famed trial lawyer, Melvin M. Belli, Sr. The Society is
dedicated to advanced legal education, and the furtherance of advanced
trial skills. It conducts 'Belli Seminars' each year in conjunction
with the Annual Convention of the American Association for Justice.
Next year's Seminar is on July 11, 2008 at the Philadelphia Marriott in
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Following the Seminar is a black-tie dinner
which will be held at a wonderful Philadelphia venue.

Mr. Scarlett is also a scheduled faculty member and lecturer at the 2008 Annual Convention of the American Association for Justice. Mr. Scarlett will be addressing the Traumatic Brain Injury Litigation Group. As a past President of TBILG, Mr. Scarlett remains extremely active with issues involving brain injury and the representation of survivors and their family members. Mr. Scarlett serves on the Board of Directors of TBILG and is a President's Member and member of the headers forum of AAJ. Please contact the

Mr. Scarlett has already served as a faculty member and lectured at numerous AAJ Seminars, at Brain Injury Conferences for various state, national and international Brain Injury Associations, and before the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, the Florida Academy of Trial Lawyers, the Southern Trial Lawyers Association, the Nevada Trial Lawyers Association, the Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association
and before numerous State Trial Lawyers Associations throughout the

Mr. Scarlett
and his wife, Mary Anne Scarlett, have two children. Clearly, when not
practicing law, Mr. Scarlett's time is consumed with his family. Mr. Scarlett
is a dive master, and Mrs. Scarlett is a rescue diver. The Scarlett's
scuba dive throughout the world. The entire Scarlett Family enjoys
sailing, water and snow skiing, golf and a number of other sports
activities. The family spends time each year in Europe, especially
Italy.
