2014 WALK FOR BRAIN INJURY HOST ORGANIZATION APPLICATIONS NOW AVAILABLE

Walk for Brain InjuryThe Brain Injury Association of California (BIACAL) is now accepting applications from nonprofit organizations to be considered as a Host Organization for a Walk Site for the 2014 Walk for Brain Injury events to be held across the state between the months of March 2014 – October 2014.  (Due to the substantial growth of these Walks, it has become necessary to expand the time frame so that we may continue to cover the entire state throughout the year).

The purpose of these walks are:

  • Raise awareness of brain injury
  • Connect individuals with brain injury and their family members with local community resources and an opportunity to meet others within those communities
  • Raise funds for BIACAL and the local nonprofit Host Organization
  • Enjoy an outdoor event with family and friends

BIACAL has a generous profit sharing opportunity  for nonprofit  host  organizations.   The profit sharing percentages range from 25% – 40% of the Gross Proceeds from the individual walk site so the more funds the walk site raises, the higher the profit sharing percentage to the Host Organization.

Any individual who is not affiliated with a nonprofit organization, but would like to work with BIACAL to bring a walk to your community, may also apply; however, BIACAL is not able to provide the above profit sharing opportunity to individuals or groups that do not have a 501(c)(3) nonprofit status.

Applications are due by Friday, July 5, 2013.  Please click here to download the application.
