According to Cynthia Morrison, chairman, “Toast To Spring” will include the latest fashions, hors d’oeuvres, dinner and a silent auction and raffle.
“Everyone from youngsters to grandparents will get a glimpse of the new trend-setting apparel for both spring and summer,” said Morrison. “Fashions for women will include a collection of fun and flirty playwear, work attire and outfits for a night out on the town.”

Women’s fashions will be presented by Polka*Dots of Phoenixville and Paoli, while boys and girls outfits are by Kids Clothesline and Occasions Boutique of Malvern.

Englund’s Apparel for Men, of Malvern, will showcase casual and executive menswear from some of the nation’s top designers.

Susan Randels, owner, Polka*Dots, will be doing the commentary during the fashion show.
Morrison, who works at Spinal Care Chiropractic in Phoenixville, managed two of her co-workers, chiropractors Dr. Chris and Ron Bacskai, to be models for the event.
“They will be two of nine adults, including Dr. Ron’s wife Colleen, that will be modeling,” she said. “There will be three teenagers and four children, including Dr. Ron’s daughter, Madeleine.”

The Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital, located in Malvern, is one of the leading hospitals providing physical medicine and restorative services for people with traumatic brain injury, stroke, multiple sclerosis, amputations, spinal cord injuries, arthritis, and other disabling conditions.
Sponsored by the hospital’s Volunteer Association, Morrison said the proceeds from”Toast To Spring” have supported a wide range of programs.

“They have included a car for the Adaptive Driving Program, the Horticultural Therapy Center, a permanent collection of art by artists with disabilities,” she said. “Also the Cruisin’ Not Boozin’ teen injury prevention, Patient Therapy Scholarship fund, recreational equipment for the Day Treatment Program, the Spinal Cord Injury Support Group, and most recently, the Brain Injury Renovation and Expansion project. This money does a lot more than people realize and we appreciate all of the support we get.”

Some of the raffle prizes include a book and a financial consultation from Frederick E. Hubler Jr., of Creative Capital Solutions, and gift certificates from Sly Fox Brewhouse and Eatery.
Tickets for “Toast To Spring” are $40 per person, and reservations are required by mail or telephone.
